Christmas Pictures

Here are a few fun Christmas pictures from the past little bit! This is our Santa picture for this year. We couldn't get the kids to smile for anything. Ava was bored out of her mind (she's not old enough to care for or understand the Santa thing) and Clark was trying to keep himself from freaking out. Santa, on the other hand, was just plain creepy. You can't really tell when the picture is this small, but he totally has a lazy eye. I have no problem with lazy eyes - except when they are on the mall santa. It just shouldn't be! Plus, he was grumpy and refused to smile for the picture. Maybe he thought his beard covered it up. Who knows. Clark was a little nervous to sit on his lap so I knelt down by him for a minute while he warmed up. Santa was a total grouch and gave me a little lecture about how I had '3 options. Sit in the picture with him, have a crying picture, or forget the whole thing.' Not kidding. I wanted to smack him and say 'Hey santa - how about a little 'HO HO HO' and 'Tell me what you want for Christmas little boy''. No wonder Clark was nervous, the guy was looking two places at one time and grouching to me about my picture options. Ugh. Oh well, the picture will be funny one day! In the meantime, don't visit the Fashion Place Santa.

Then, this is our Alter family Christmas picture. No funny stories behind this picture! I thought it turned out really well!

This is the family picture we used for our Christmas cards. Too bad Ava didn't want to look at the camera - but it wasn't bad besides that!
