Birthday Boy!!
I'm really not sure how we've gone from this.......
to this......
But I'm a little traumatized by all of it! I can't believe my little Clark is 4! That's huge. He's such a sweet little boy and I love that kid to death! He's SO fun. He had a great birthday yesterday and he was pretty excited to be the 'birthday boy'. We started off the day with homemade pancakes in the shape of a birthday cake and a C. He loved it! Then we packed up and went to pick up Grandma and Grandpa Alter for a trip to the Gateway Children's museum. We have a pass now and he LOVES that place. It was fun. Then we went to...get ready.... Costco for lunch. He likes VERY few foods in this world and Costco pizza just so happens to be on the approved list. He loves their berry smoothies too. And the ice cream bars. Or maybe that was me. Anyhow, then we headed home and he and I made chocolate chip cookies for his birthday treat. He wanted those over cupcakes, cake, ice cream or anything else. Fine by me! Then he and Jesse spent some time outside working. Which, for those of you who don't know Clark, is about his most favorite thing ever. Then Jesse and I played Memory with him and let him watch his favorite show. Dinner was mac and cheese at Noodles with grandma and grandpa Hutchie and then home for a few presents. It was a fun day and he loved being the center of attention. He's getting so big and for some reason the pregnancy hormones are making me super nostalgic about him turning a year older. I'll save my blabbing for my journal though, cause I bet you don't want to hear it!!! I begged him to stay little and he refused - he told me the new baby will be little and that he needs to grow big. How right he is!

That Clarkie is just too cute for words. Sounds like he had an incredible day. What a great way to ring in your 4th year.
