Shelf

I have a question - and I need some help! Do any of you have one of these things?

Minus the goofy lady, of course. It's one of those food storage rotating systems. I've been feeling the need to get our food storage up to par lately and these are about the only REALLY handy way of organizing cans of food that I know of. The only problem is that they are way pricey. Stupidly expensive. SO, my questions are: does anyone use these? Like them? Or, know of a better or cheaper way to organize food well? They sell these at Costco for less than than you can buy them from the manufacturer (go Costco!) and Costco is getting more in stock next week. I might go get one unless I can find something better in the meantime....

Hi Ash, unfortunately, I have no tips on food storage...but to answer your question about when I ride my new bike and what do I do with Trey? Well, we have a trailer for him to ride that I pull behind me! Not bad, eh?!

Hi Ashley, It's Kelly Davis. I'm glad we can blog stock each other now! So, I've had the same feeling about food storage!! I really feel like I need to get on the ball about it. I don't have one of these but my sister in law said she doesn't like hers because two rows are used for one item. Does that make sense? Any way I don't think there is really anything else to use. If you get one let us know what you think!

We just bought some shelves at Target that we put together ourselves. We bought 4 of the 3-shelf sets and I think they were like $12 each. We just stack stuff on the shelves. There's enough space on each shelf to do usually 3 cans stacked on top of each other, then we put them about 3 deep, also. We have crammed a TON of food on those shelves. I'm not sure if you've seen them or not, in our toyroom closet. You should take a peek. It works pretty well and wasn't that much money - I know those ones you're looking at are pricey.

Cindy had a great idea. I am going to have to give that a try. I am in need of something too! My bro in law is very handy and he homemade one of those racks out of wood. It looks AMAZING! Maybe I can convince him to do one for us! ya right! They live in Montana!
