You guys asked for it (well, a few of you did) and now you are going to get it! Here is our Halloween in Pictures. The long version!
In the morning we went down to ProPay to visit Jesse at work. J put the camera in his pocket and then we both promptly forgot to take any pictures of the event. I felt bad about it and decided to make sure the rest of the day was well documented! We'll start off with the costumes. Clark was a football player. Or, as he says it, a foofball player. We got the cute little pads and helmet from his grandma's house. I have no idea where they were hiding because I'd never seen them up until a few months ago. Clark thought they were great and we decided to build a costume around it. We had the little shirt and I sewed the numbers on the front and back. He's wearing pajama pants (shhh, don't tell) and 5 sizes too big soccer cleats. It was a good look!

Little Ava was the cutest fairy I've ever seen. We got the wings and tutu at Swiss Days and the tiara and wand at the grocery store. The costume was put together a little haphazardly but I think it turned out super cute. I was surprised how well it worked once I got it all together. Luckily, the wings and tiara didn't seem to bother her at all and she gladly kept the whole thing on. Phew.

After visitng daddy in Orem we drove up to my sister Christy's office by the U. Every year they have a costume contest and trick or treating for the kids. My kids might as well be Christy's kids so every year we take them up and let them trick or treat with her. Her office is the candy motherload! We got SO much sugar. It was crazy. Here's a picture with Christy and her (my) kiddies.

After we were done trick or treating Clark felt the need to tie up a few loose ends and spent about 30 minutes 'working' at Christy's desk. He made calls, worked on the computer, rifled through her drawers, mangled her headset, drew on her whiteboards and had a grand old time. He was very serious about it too -- he was all business.

Ava, on the other hand, was more interested in the pumpkins and the candy she'd just collected.

My brother in law Corbin works at the same office so my sister Darci came along to watch the trick or treating and to say HI to her hubby. Corbin's team dressed up at Cowboys and Indians and he had the best costume, by far. I think he raided my dad's closet to find the costume, but we'll pretend like he had all this stuff on his own. Sorry Corbin, I just noticed that I uploaded the pic with your eyes shut. Whoops. At least Avie and Darci look good! ;>

After the candy haul we went over to my parent's house and let the kids sort through their load. It was unreal.

These pictures don't do it justice. We must have had the equivalent of 15-20 bags of candy. And we got more that night!

That night we went trick or treating to the other grandma and grandpa and met up with some cousins for more trick or treating. I missed that part because Ava puked in the car and I ended up taking her home for a bath and bedtime. It had been a long day and I think she ingested more candy that i noticed. She's sneaky like that.

It was such a fun day. And, the best part is that Jesse and I have a HUGE bowl of candy that will last us clear through the holidays. Let's face it, you never know when I'm gonna need a sugar fix.

They look so cute! The costumes are great. Any Laffy Taffy in that loot?
YAAAAAY for lots of pictures. I love the football costume. I'm pretty sure those pads and that helmet have been around since Jack's days! Scary? Avie looks absolutely adorable. ooh, I want to squeeze her - do it for me, k? Clark is quite the working man! It's in his genes (sort of) to work at GS, right? ;) I bet you can get more candy there than a whole night of trick-or-treating; good work. SO bummed I missed all the festivities!!
Oh my cuteness!!! They're both adorable. :-) I LOVE that picture of little baby Clark. I never got to see him in that stage so it's fun to see a pic.
How cute!!! I just love Halloween ... it's the best!
I love your Halloween pictures! Hmmm, I wonder why Ava puked?
Those are some REALLY old football pads! I remember wearing those when I was a kid! Laura and I love the picture of Ava with the pumpkin!
Ava's fairy costume did turn out cute! She wasn't wearing it at the party at your house, so I'm glad I got to see a picture of it!
