POTTY TRAINING!!!

That's right - Potty training. AHHHHHHHH. Actually, it's going ok so far. I decided on Monday that this was the week that I was going to potty train Clark. I've wanted to do it for months now (well, years, actually) but haven't had the time to stay home and concentrate on it with him. It takes a lot of effort to break these kids of their diaper habits! Anyhow, we started Monday afternoon and so far things are going great. He's had two accidents (0ne per day) but has 10 stickers on his potty chart. He's even earned his first prize (we made the first one easy - only 5 stickers). He thinks he's a big kid - which is great. I just hope he keeps up the good work. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

I have a question for you ... how's does he handle poop on the potty? Braden has been peeing on the potty for months (like since the spring) and he STILL has issues pooping on the potty. I thought we were finally done with the poop accidents until Christmas when he completely regressed and would not go poop on Tay parent's potty! I am SOOOOO done cleaning poop out of underwear. I hope you have better luck than we're having now.

Oh, I love that feeling! My kids just loved their character underwear! I mean, I tried to keep that to a minimum and just buy plain underwear but they love their batman and spongebob, barbie or Dora so much and since they don't wear that stuff on their regular clothes I don't mind! Plus they really got motivated. Good for Clark! Actually- you get all the praise. It is so much work but so well worth it! The stickers and things to earn sound like they are working well for you. Yay!!!

Girls are easier to potty train too so hopefully it won't be TOO long before you can do this with Ava!
