Yep, the Harry Potter series. I know, I'm in good company with the 10 year old of this world. Actually, probably not, they all read the books 4 years ago. I never had any interest in reading these books when they first came out but my good friend Cindy finally talked me into reading them. I've been on a reading kick for about a year now and I've read 20-30 books in that time. It's a lot of fun! Anyhow, I'm just finished the 5th book in the 7 book series and have quite liked them. Cindy let me borrow her movies and I've been watching those after I finish each book. It's kinda fun. Gets me away from diapers and laundry for a little bit, at least!

Good for you for finally reading those!! I enjoyed them all and I've enjoyed the movies as well!!
Ashly---it's Zabel :-). I stalked you through Kristi...it's her fault. I love the Harry Potter books. It's honestly a great way to get out of this world. Rowling has a talent for writing.
And might I add that your family looks super cute!!! Hope you don't mind being stalked.
I held off on reading the series for a few years, but gave in as well and am glad I did. Love the books and love the movies!
I'm still mad at you for ruining the ending for yourself. Were you pretty bummed to find out that Hermione dies?
Recently, I've been thinking about reading the series too. I think you may have just become the catalyst I needed to actually do it.
I read these when I was preggers with Sally. I nwever understood all the fuss until I actually tried it- I was hooked.
You're in good company with me :)Those books are great! I just finished the last of the Harry Potter books a few months ago. They have definitely gotten me back into reading. I loved them!
I have all the books and I have to admit, I've lost interest. I haven't even opened up the last book. I've read all of them but the last, I have the last but I just can't find the interest to even start it. I was way into it about 10 years ago. I remember reading the second book in one day. But now 10 or more years later I can't even finish the series.
